WELCOME! I’ve already travelled (very) cheaply to more than 100 countries! #solofemaletraveller #solofemaletravel

Where did it all start? The first time I travelled outside my country on my own was to a city of over a million people and where I didn’t know much of the language. It was a huge challenge, and I loved it. It was at this point that I set a pretty unusual goal for myself: I vowed to visit as many countries as my current age. And so I started my travelling adventures, taking many photos and keeping journals to document all the highs and lows along the way.

This once seemingly impossible goal was achieved when I travelled to my 26th country when I was 26 years old. Among my travels over a six-year period, I participated in a study-abroad program to Austria, attended a wedding in a castle in Switzerland, assisted medical personnel in temporary clinics throughout rural Belize, and volunteered in a rural community in Mexico.

Since that milestone, I’ve travelled to more than 100 countries across 6 continents, close to 90 countries as a #solofemaletraveller. YouTube is where I’m starting to share my story of so many AMAZING experiences and AWESOME nature while travelling on a budget.

What’s the purpose? By sharing my story on this site and with videos in YouTube—especially as a solo female, budget traveller—I hope to encourage you to accomplish whatever goals you want to have a positive impact on you and others, whether travelling around the world, exploring your own backyard, or any dream you have and want to fulfill. It’ll probably be (very) hard work, but so worth it when you achieve it! All the best with your journey!
